Material Groups Management
The “Material Group” submenu represents the organizations commodities/services on the platform. All Material Groups should be assigned to: projects, events, orders, contracts, auctions, etc.

How to create a Material Group[edit]
- In order to create a new Material Group, click the New icon.
- In order to create a new sub-Material Group: Check the box on the same line of the parent material group and click the New icon.
You can assign buyers and suppliers to specific material groups simultaneously. If a link is developed between your ERP and ST6, transactions can be viewed in the tab: “Transaction value”. Once your data has been saved, click in order to enable your new Material Group.
Note: Only Material Groups with status “disabled” can be deleted. Once a Material Group has been enabled it can only be set to expired (not visisble to frontend).
To enable your new material group, click the enable icon.
How to edit an existing Material Group[edit]
To edit an existing Material Group click the open icon. After you have finished editing make sure to click the Save icon.
How to enable/disable a Material Group[edit]
To disable a material group, set it as expired, the material group will no longer be visible for the end user. To enable a material group, click the enable icon.
Note: A Material Group that has been set to expired will no longer be visible to users in the frontend (except for old projects).
How to assign buyers/suppliers to a Material Group[edit]
Open the material group and enter the “Buyers”/“Suppliers” tabs, assign as many buyers and suppliers simultaneously as wanted to the selected material group:
- Click the New icon to assign buyers to the material group
- Select the buyers and click Apply
- Go to “Suppliers” tab, and follow the same steps for assigning suppliers to a certain material group
How to move a Material Group[edit]
In order to change the order of a Material group click move. The next window shows you all possible new levels for the Material Groups you want to move.
Note: Any Sub-Material Group will also be moved!
