Multicurrency tenders
Multicurrency tenders[edit]
You are able to create a multicurrency project. This means that:
- a project can be analyzed in any currency defined on the platform.
- each supplier will quote in the currency specified by you.
The prices entered by the suppliers in their currency will then be converted into the currency defined for this project (phase Project setup tab Project details). You have to change the default currency of the project before you enter any Finance values. In order to run a multi-currency project, you need to have the tab Project currency in the phase Project setup. Go to the Project currencies and click <the corresponding icon> and select all required currencies from the new pop-up window; click <the corresponding icon>: The conversion rates you see here are global rates defined in the Backoffice by your administrator. You can use the existing conversion rates or change it for your current project. To change them, click to open the currency for which you would like to change the exchange rate, modify the rate and click to save the new value.
