The second standard feature is the Document Management System (DMS).

DMS is a central documents repository where any authorized ST6 user can have access to shared online documents. Shared documents are available in the “General documents” section.
DMS provides different capabilities to fully manage documents lifecycle and documents access rights.
Authorized users can access and upload documents to the “General documents” section or to the “My documents” section. Documents uploaded to <My documents> are only accessible by the individual user, while general documents to all users.

“My documents” section: To upload a document, click New , and follow the steps described below:
- Select the characteristics of your document.
- When you have finished settings your documents’ attributes, click Next step, and select the documents you wish to upload by clicking Browse.
- The section allows you to select the type of the document:
- File
- Free text
- Hyperlink
- and add comments for each of the uploaded files.
- Click Finish in order to finalize the upload.
Once the document is uploaded, it appears in the documents list table in the “General documents” or the “My documents” section, according to the section you have used.
Document actions:
- Open – By clicking this icon, the details tab is open and available
- Download – Allows you to download the selected document(s)
- Open history – Provides information like the date of creation, creator, number (ID), status and so on.
- Upload new version – any ST6 user is able to upload a new version of the document.
- Supplier and buyer access – allows you to remove or provide access for suppliers or buyer to the document.
- Delete – Delete the document.
The “Advanced Search” section allows you to find certain documents, by the desired criteria, and download it.
