Auction Structure[edit]
The Auction structure wizard enables buyers to create auction lines, formulas and to set participants’ view rights.
Create lines[edit]
In the Position tab, the buyer creates lines of the auction.
1. To create lines click the below icons:
- New price line item: this feature creates quotation lines. Participants will be asked to place prices.
- New number line item: this feature creates numerical lines, participants will be asked to enter numbers.
- Paste: This feature pastes copied lines.
- New label line item: this feature creates display only lines (useful for titles, heads etc).
- New calculation line item: this feature creates calculations lines.
- New text line item: This feature creates text lines, participant will be asked to enter text.
2. In order to copy a line click on Copy icon ; to paste click Paste icon.
3. To create calculation lines first select the lines you want to add or insert to the formula; then click the icon New calculation line item.
Edit lines[edit]
Once the lines are created, the project leader can edit them.
1. Click on the yellow folder to edit the line.
2. Complete the fields and click on Save.
The project leader sets the minimum and maximum bid change:
- The checked box indicates a relative bid change (%).
- The unchecked box indicates an absolute bid change ($).
The project leader defines if it is a downward or an upward position.
Add columns[edit]
The project leader can add additional columns to the auction structure. This does not means that those columns will be inserted into suppliers’ bidbox page.
1. Select the column to add.
2. Click on the corresponding icon to add the selected column.
Structure import[edit]
The project leader can import the auction structure from Excel. This option is useful when a auction project contains lots of line.
Important note:
You have to download the Excel template from the platform first.
Calculation line item cannot be imported, it must be created directly on the platform.
In the Auction Structure Wizard:
1. Click on the corresponding icon to download the Auction structure template.
2. Follow the instructions to download the Structure template.
3. In the Excel file, fill in the Auction structure template, save it and close.
4. Click on the Import icon.
5. Follow the instructions to import the Structure template.
Formulas[edit]
The Formula tab enables to modify and to edit formulas.
- To modify or edit, click on Open formula editor.
- Select the line items containing the values and add it to the formula by clicking the green arrow.
- Use the common symbols to create your formula.
- Do not forget to click on Apply to validate.
Access rights[edit]

- The unchecked box indicates that suppliers do not have access to the lot.
Important note :
View rights can only be set for English auction.
