Procurement & Ordering – Catalog search[edit]
With the assigned role of goods receipt user, you have access to the module Procurement and Ordering. To access this module, click on the appropriate icon in the menu bar. The Procurement & Ordering menu will open in a new window :
- You are now on the main page of the module.
- The main options are shown above the arrow.
- On the left menu you can get to any sub-menus. Use the buttons << and >> to hide or show the menu.
- Click on Catalog -> Catalog search.
The header indicates which basket of goods and document you have just opened.
The abbreviations of the documents are:
- Purchase requests (PR)
- Orders (ORD)
- Goods receipts (DEL)
- Returns (RD)
On the Catalog search page, all available ordering catalogs are displayed. The list includes internal and external catalogs which are provided by suppliers via the Internet. You can search an article by entering the name in the empty field or select a catalog from the displayed list.
Please note that external catalogs are not part of the ST6 system and therefore the display, navigation and other functionality can differ as described in this manual.
Search by using empty fields[edit]
You have the possibility to use the quick search. To start searching, enter a name in the empty field and click the corresponding icon.
The advanced search can be opened by clicking the arrows next to Search. You can search by supplier number, description, manufacturer number, catalog name, total price and currency. Please note that the search is possible for internal catalogs only. Once you open a catalog, the search will be further available for products only. To select or search for another catalog just click Go to product group.
