Section: General Tender Settings[edit]

In the General tab, you will be able to edit the settings of the RFx module.

User system email[edit]

If the checkbox “use system email” is checked, the emails will be sent as coming from the platform.

Use daily reports of events[edit]

If the option is used then a daily report of the projects will be created.

Daily report sent to[edit]

This option allows the sending of the daily reports of the events to a particular user in charge. The email address of the user can be added in the special box destined for this.

Allow One-Page project[edit]

In case this option is checked, the users can create express or quick projects. To create an express project the user must select one of the “Express project” options as well, settings which can be found in the General settings section of the RFX template.

Display Sourcing plan[edit]

When the option is checked, a new tab will be available in the RFX module (project list).

Use Sourcing plan approval workflow[edit]

The option activates / deactivates the workflow for the previous option “Use Sourcing plan”, and it is unchecked by default. The workflow is based on the project’s set up workflow.

RFX Admin can replace Sourcing plan approvers[edit]

The option has the purpose to authorize RFX admins to replace approvers in the workflow, and by default this option is not activated.

Use platform colors in grid excel export[edit]

If selected, the option allows the usage of the platform’s colors in the excel exports of the grids created inside of a RFX project.


Section: Supplier management[edit]

Supplier companies to be invited in the project are restricted by BU assignment[edit]

Depending on the selection made, the supplier companies’ invitation to the RFX projects will be conditioned or not by Business Unit. The user can choose to be able to add to his projects only companies belonging to a particular Business Unit, belonging to the Business Unit assigned to the project, or to any Business unit available in the system.

Display companies with a particular registration status[edit]

Only Supplier companies with the selected registration status will be visible when the project leader will invite suppliers to his newly created RFX project.

Access to project in status “Potential"[edit]

If checked, the suppliers with the registration status “Potential” will be able to access and participate to projects.

Invite automatically Material group and Business unit responsible[edit]

Material group responsible and Business unit responsible can be automatically invited to a project when it is created.

  • If you wish to activate this process, select the role you want these users to have when they are in the project.

Display Optimization scenario icons[edit]

If the checkbox “Display Optimization scenario icons” is checked, the corresponding icons will appear in the advanced grid analysis page.

If the checkbox “Hide Finance overview tab” is checked, the tab Finance Overview will not be shown to users when they enter the RFx Module.

Ignore product group requirement validation on publish grid[edit]

It is required to check in the internal / external phases of an RFX project if an article which was added to a grid is assigned to a Group Requirement. RFx projects are not allowed to be published if there are still some articles added which have no Group Requirement assignment. In case the conditions are not respected, at the RFX project’s publication, a warning message will be displayed: “Article [name] Line [xx] Grid [xx] has not been assigned to GR”.

This option allows the user to publish the project even if the conditions are not being met.
