Project creation[edit]
In order to create a new project, follow the steps below: Click RFx to open the RFx module. The main page of the RFX module will display the RFx project list. Access to the project(s) is dependent on your user profile and settings. You will always have access to all projects where you are the project leader and any project you are invited to. A project template must be selected: to select the most relevant one for your project, read the comment column for the template content and settings.
- Once Project list page opens, click <New>.
- Select a project template.
- Click Apply.
Please make sure your pop-up blocker is disabled!
- Define the start date, end date or both and then click <Apply>.
An existing project can be copied and pasted by selecting the project and clicking <Copy project>: You can choose from a variety of elements that can be copied from one project to the other. Select the project elements you wish to copy and click <Apply>. Creating a project means setting the parameters and switching its status from Planning (project can still be deleted in status planning) to In Setup (creation of structures) and finally Online (supplier can view and enter data). Phases and project settings/options are dependent on the project template selected.
