Finding product(s)[edit]

You can find the product(s) in 2 ways:

  • Use the filters on the left
  • Use the page search

Left filter:

  • By business status
    • Active: products are visible in the web shop (provided their validity date allows it)
    • Inactive: products are NOT visible in the web shop (regardless their validity date)
  • Categories

These are the categories provided by the supplier with the catalogue upload.

  • Administration status / Validity status
    • Inactive: products is not yet valid (valid from = in future)
    • Active: products are currently in the validity period
    • Expired: the validity period elapsed (valid to = in past)

Should you need to search by ID, manufacturer etc please use the page search.

Products assignments and activation[edit]

To be able to activate / deactivate the product you need to have the role Article management admin .

Introduction[edit]

For a product to be visible in webshop, three conditions must be met:

  • The product must be approved
  • Validity date of the product must be correct
  • Your assigned authorisation objects match those of the product. AO are an expression for your area of responsibility.

This article will explain how to approve or to assign AO to products. Access the catalogue list as described in Catalogues.

Assign for the first time[edit]

Open the requested catalogue and select the products for which you want to define the business scope (assignment), click on assign objects and select which object to assign (e.g. MG or SBU), then their value(s) In case you have many elements in your page, use the search to reduce the number of displayed elements. The selections which you make between your searches are kept and will be applied when you finish your assignment action.

Changing existing assignments[edit]

If you select multiple product and some of them have already an assignment, all checkboxes will appear not checked and the existing assignments will be replaced with the new assignments you now make. If you select a single product and it has already elements assigned, the checkboxes will appear checked.

You can make the assignment for 1 product, multiple products across different paginations, all products of 1 pagination and all products of the catalogue. Then repeat the same for activation. Select, approve and click the Activate action icon. If you have already product activated, you can deactivate them by clicking the corresponding icon. As a result, the product will be / will not be anymore visible in the web shop.
