Introduction[edit]
The aim of this article is to provide functionality explanations for each button in "Supplier Database" application of SynerTrade system.
Record Action Buttons[edit]
New sub company[edit]
This action creates another company connected to the selected company as a sub-element.
New contact[edit]
New supplier users can be added through this button. One company can have many supplier users.
Collection of supplier information[edit]
The system provides a mechanism to collect additional information from the supplier, such as certificates, sustainability questionnaire, information collection, Basket (for development: only 3rd level is selectable), the name of the user who is starting the process and the start date and time of the project. This button was created for a specific company's on-boarding.
Send email[edit]
By this button, user sends email to the suppliers, directly from "Supplier Database". The function is implemented, in order to remind the suppliers manually to fill their information sheet. Only the users, who have the right roles, can send emails.
Open company details[edit]
All the company’s information, contacts, ERP and etc. would be visible, by clicking on this button. Alternatively, the user can click on the row, which the company’s name is visible, and go through the same page.
Delete[edit]
The supplier company can be deleted.
Cut[edit]
The user can move a sub-company from a parent to another parent.
Copy selected supplier to clipboard[edit]
The function is useful for the RFX and Auction apps. The client can use the button to copy suppliers to RFX (Tender) and Action inside "Supplier Circle" tab. Set registration status[edit]
Set registration status helps the buyer to change the status of a company in any status, if the company is not involved in an active workflow.
History[edit]
All the changes, regarding the selected supplier company, are tracked and visible here. The history however, will be deleted after some days, so that "Supplier Database" would not slow down.
Show supplier family[edit]
The information of the values is used to display the hierarchical levels in a graphical way. There is no consideration made regarding the ownership of the companies though.
Show map[edit]
The company’s location is pinned on a world map.
Export supplier data[edit]
All the information tabs regarding the company, which are stated in the “Company detail”, appear in a matrix pop up and the user can select which information to choose and then click on “Apply”. Afterwards, the selected data will be shown in an excel sheet.
Send to ERP[edit]
It is a supplier export interface. With this button, supplier can be exported from accelerate to the customer’s platform. By clicking on it, the data of the company is sent to SAP. Only one company can be sent at a time.
Go to GU-DUNS report[edit]
The page takes the user to GU-DUNS report which is a listing of ongoing contracts for each of the suppliers’ subsidiaries.
Assign supplier entry sheet[edit]
When this button clicked, a pop-up displays, where the questionnaire and the process frequency can be assigned to a supplier. The action is available only per supplier. Create Favorite suppliers[edit]
Each supplier company can be marked as favorite supplier and the list is accessible for the buyer users to see all the favorite suppliers.
Send request assessment[edit]
This button sends an assessment request, in order to provide a standard, out of the shelf integration of the customers with "EcoVadis". "EcoVadis" provides purchasing departments of companies with scores about responsible procurement (environment, labor practices...).
Print[edit]
By clicking on print, many information such as “Company information”, “Commercial key account”, “Company profile”, “Company turnover”, “Further information”, “References”, “Strategic business unit”, “Manufacturing sites”, “Geographical Zone”, “Material Group Assignment”, “Country and Category Assignment”, “Certificate Overview”, “Company contacts” and “Finalization” display on the screen and can be printed.
Update from SAP[edit]
The data from the selected supplier will be updated through the received information from SAP system.
